Cleaner Air Made Easy

When you choose professionals like Cliff Bergin & Associates, you’ll get a heating and cooling system that makes your home feel good. And when you add a quality air purifying unit, you’ll feel better, too. In addition to managing temperature and humidity levels, new HVAC products can remove dust, allergens, bacteria, mold, and more from the air so you can breathe easy and stay healthy.

Three Options for Optimal Air Quality

  1. The quality of your air is only as good as your system, so consider the Carrier® Infinity® air purifier. It does more than just filter the air—it uses Captures and Kills™ technology to trap up to 95 percent of pathogens, down to .30 micron in size, then inactivates and kills them with an electrical charge. As part of your whole home system, it quietly cycles air through its media filter as many as eight times an hour for constant re-purification and fresher, healthier air. The Infinity® air purifier is far more effective than portable units, and maintaining the system is as easy as removing and replacing the media cartridge.
  2. UV lights are another option for getting rid of airborne organisms that can make you sick. Special bulbs emit photo-catalytic oxidation to destroy germs and mold that can live in the indoor coil of your heating or cooling system. It’s something like a bug zapper, but without the mess.
  3. A third option for better air quality is an air exchanger (or ventilator). Simply opening windows and doors can be noisy, unsafe, or uncomfortable, depending on the weather, but an air exchanger moderates the temperature and humidity of incoming air. Units recommended for our Wisconsin climate are equipped for heat recovery to help match inside air temperature, so your furnace and air conditioner aren’t working overtime to maintain a consistent comfort level.
