Dispatcher / Customer Service Rep


We have an immediate opening for a dispatcher / customer service representative in our Mequon office. Candidate must be dependable, professional, and be able to multi-task efficiently. The ideal candidate will have advanced customer service skills and be articulate, adaptable to change, and able to excel and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. Dispatching experience and knowledge of the plumbing and/or HVAC trade is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Prior dispatching experience is preferred
  • Computer literate / MS-Office
  • High school diploma required

Responsibilities / Job Duties

  • Handle incoming phone calls
  • Create appropriate dispatches for service calls & schedule customer requests for service in the most efficient manner
  • Route daily technician schedule in the most efficient & cost-effective manner. Schedule return service visits in a timely manner after parts ordered are received
  • Communicate clearly with all field technicians and internal office staff on scheduling
  • Invoice service calls that are not billed out on job site
  • Answer and handle customer inquiries on billing – questions on work done, etc
  • Answer any technical inquiries from customers to assist them in the best way possible
  • Assist technicians with invoice preparation, if needed
  • Order parts on an “as-needed” basis in purchasing manager’s absence
  • Other support tasks, as needed and assigned
